Apart from visits at your home I can occasionally offer a bedroom in my house for short-term cat boarding (this is only occasional and needs to be consulted). The cat/s will be accommodated in a nice spacious and bright bedroom, without access to the rest of the house and to my cats - this is both for any health-risk and stress reasons. I am very strict on hygiene, the bedroom will be sparkling clean and disinfected. Some cats prefer to be left alone, especially at the beginning when I am just a stranger, some want company, playing or cuddles, I’ll adjust to the cat’s needs.

I prefer to see the owner and cat(s) before starting the visits, meet in person and learn all there is to know about the cat, where to find everything necessary in the apartment etc.🙂
Un día normal
I follow the cat parent’s instructions on what the cat needs and likes. If they enjoy playing we’ll play with their favorite toys, if they want physical contact I’m more than happy to snuggle🙂If they see me as an intruder and don’t want anything with me I’ll take care of their food, litter box etc. and go. Try to offer a treat if that’s ok. And see if next time maybe they’re a bit more happy to see me.

Experiencia en el cuidado de gatos
I have years of intensive experience in shelter work, feral/sick/injured cat rescue and fostering, with deep understanding, knowledge and love for cats❤️ Since 2021 I have worked part-time in an animal shelter, taking care of cats there and fostering in my home when possible. I have met cats of plenty different characters, ages and health issues, many very traumatized. I am very calm, focused and patient, never pushy - always wait for the cat to approach or give an obvious consent to being touched. Most of all: every cat is different and time needs to be spent to get to know their character and needs. Since 2020 I have been a volunteer for street-cat rescue associations, mostly fostering unsocialized feral cats who need veterinary treatment and long-term medication. Over the years, I have learnt many tricks to handle their care and medication with no unnecessary stress.

Lucy is truly one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. Leaving my cats behind when I go away is never easy, but knowing that Lucy is looking after them gives me complete peace of mind. She doesn’t just take care of the basics, she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. She treats my cats with so much love, patience, and attention, and it is obvious that she has a real passion for animals. Lucy always goes above and beyond, making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What I appreciate most is that she treats my cats as if they were her own. She pays attention to the little things, spends quality time with them, and makes sure they feel safe and loved while I’m away. It means so much to know they are in such caring hands. Lucy is not only an exceptional pet sitter but also a genuinely lovely person. I would trust her with my cats without hesitation, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets with the same love and dedication they do themselves.
I have known Lucie for many years through an organization that rescues dogs and cats in southern Spain. She is incredibly friendly, kind, reliable, and very caring toward the cats there. She has an enormous amount of knowledge and easily responds to the needs of the cats. She is a true cat whisperer, because even the shyest cats become calm, relaxed, and even affectionate again thanks to her patience and love. She has a huge amount of experience with cats.
I met Lucie a few years ago when I visited the Ace-charity shelter. I helped her take care of the cats. I immediately noticed the love Lucie has for all the cats staying at the shelter; she meticulously cleans the enclosures, and in between, she cuddles every cat, regardless of their personality. She gives the most fearful cats extra attention to help them socialize, with wonderful results. If I were to go on vacation, I would feel completely at ease leaving our 8 cats in Lucie’s care.
I have known Lucie for a number of years and can totally recommend her as a responsible and trustworthy pet carer. She has lots of experience looking after healthy cats and also cats with health issues and has a vast knowledge of medical issues. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lucie to look after your pet.
